Welcome to Praxis. By accessing or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the app.
1. Eligibility and Account Linking
To provide detailed statistics, Praxis requires users to sign in via Riot Games or other third-party platform OAuth services.
- Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your platform accounts.
- Data Visibility: By linking your account, you acknowledge and agree that your game statistics and match history will be made visible to other users of the Praxis platform.
2. Data Storage and Usage
- Persistence: Once an account is linked, Praxis retrieves and stores match data. You acknowledge that this data is stored indefinitely to provide historical trending and long-term analytics.
- Third-Party Providers: Praxis uses data provided by Riot Games and other third-party platforms. Your use of Praxis is also subject to the Riot Games Terms of Service and any other applicable platform policies.
3. Service Tiers and Virtual Goods
- Base Tier: The free version of Praxis is limited to the tracking and display of your last 100 matches.
- Virtual Goods: Praxis may offer digital items, such as UI themes or cosmetic enhancements. These are "virtual goods." They have no cash value, are non-transferable, and do not grant you any ownership interest in the software. All sales or acquisitions of virtual goods are final.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Scrape Data: Use any robot, spider, or other automated means to access Praxis or "scrape" data from the interface for any purpose without our express written permission.
- Abuse Service: Attempt to circumvent the 100-match limit or interfere with the proper working of the application.
5. Intellectual Property
All software, design, and the "look and feel" of Praxis are the intellectual property of the Praxis development team. Using the app does not give you ownership of any intellectual property rights in our service or the content you access.
6. Disclaimers and "As-Is" Provision
Praxis is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis.
- Accuracy: While we strive for precision, we do not guarantee the accuracy of data pulled from third-party APIs.
- Service Interruptions: Praxis is constantly being improved. You acknowledge that the service may experience bugs, downtime, or service interruptions at any time without notice.
- No Warranty: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability or fitness of the app for a particular purpose.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Praxis and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the service.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Vancouver, BC.
9. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of Praxis after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
